Capco, a global provider of integrated transformation services, is opening a new branch in Switzerland. Professionals with local market knowledge bring Capco's expertise closer to the customer allowing Capco to be more proactive in delivering services for the Swiss financial industry. "The UK and Frankfurt office have a long tradition of servicing clients in Switzerland. With the new branch some of Capco's most valued customers will be able to profit from industry expertise, global delivery results and the knowledge of the local market delivered by a team that is practically just around the corner," said Peter Schurau, lead of Capco Europe, in a press release.

Armin Schmitt, senior Capco partner and member of the board for Capco Switzerland added in the release, "the opening of a Swiss office is part of Capco's global expansion strategy to enhance its growth in continental Europe and enlarge the presence of Capco expertise in the financial services industry in the Germanic market. Additionally the region provides tremendous potential for managing consulting and IT servicing, two focus markets for Capco." The new office will most likely be located in Zurich or Geneva and the opening is planned for the end of this year.
