UBS Selects CheckFree Financial Messaging.

UBS Global Asset Management has begun implementing CheckFree Financial and Compliance Solutions' TradeFlow TPM. The Owings Mills, Md.-based vendor's solution, which was acquired as part of HelioGraph in 2003, will be the hub of UBS' new global trade confirmation system.

The first phase of the system is scheduled to go live in London this summer, with subsequent rollouts in Zurich, Chicago, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. It will provide borderless trade confirmation and exception-management workflow. Fund managers and brokers can use TradeFlow TPM for single-window data monitoring across UBS Global AM offices.

Richard Flack, UBS Global AM's project sponsor, said in a statement that the firm chose TradeFlow TPM based on its "easy of deployment, and the fact that it supports new services such as FIX 4.4 and OMGEO CTM." In addition, he said, the solution will provide flexibility for the firm to adopt future standards.
