State Street Rolls Out Risk Data on iPad

State Street announced the launch of an iPad application aimed at institutional asset managers, which enables them to view entire investment portfolios along with real-time analysis of their exposure to risk.

State Street announced the launch of an iPad application aimed at institutional asset managers, which enables them to view entire investment portfolios along with real-time analysis of their exposure to risk. The firm said the application – available to clients through Apple Inc.'s App Store –includes net asset value summaries and fund flows. The move was prompted by strong demand for mobile applications throughout the industry, State Street added. "Clients are increasingly focused on risk management and are relying on mobile devices more than ever for immediate access to critical information in a rapidly changing global market," said Pat Centanni, State Street's head of global product management.
