Nasdaq OMX, FactSet Team to Give Corporate Intelligence

Nasdaq OMX said today that it formed a partnership with analytical applications provider FactSet Research Systems Inc. to create a research platform enabling users to monitor public and private companies along with global capital markets in real-time.

FactSet, a provider of integrated global economic information, will combine its platform with Nasdaq OMX’s Corporate Intelligence Product, giving users access to a wider range of in-depth data and analytics.

“The needs of financial professionals … evolve very quickly. This partnership meets those needs head on,” Demetrios Skalkotos, a senior vice president at Nasdaq OMX said in a statement.

The partnership will give users access to news across hundreds of global exchanges along with the latest information involving mergers and acquisitions deals.

Nasdaq said clients will also have access to global historical pricing of a wide range of assets and indices, along with detailed broker estimates and research.
