Mapleridge Capital Corporation, an alternative investment management company that trades futures markets systematically, selected OneTick CEP, according to OneMarketData LLC.

Mapleridge will use the complex-event-processing (CEP) engine for integrating the analysis of real-time streaming and historical market data to support its quantitative strategy development.

“OneTick CEP will empower Mapleridge Capital to generate real-time signals and statistics with minimal latency to assist them in identifying trends in the markets they trade,” commented Leonid Frants, president and founder of OneMarketData, in the release.

A key reason why Mapleridge Capital chose OneTick CEP is its ability to filter, correlate and aggregate real-time event data in a low latency environment, according to the release.

In statement, Grant Wells, chief operating officer of Mapleridge Capital, said, “To provide short-term trading advice to clients, we need cost-effective software solutions that help our investment professionals in the critical task of developing and managing trading strategies using real time signal generation,” “We thought OneTick CEP is the best CEP engine available to integrate historical data with real-time streaming data for trading and to decrease the time from strategy development to production.”
