Itau BBA Securites Goes Live With SunGard Valdi OMS

Brazilian broker will tap SunGard 's Valdi, Valdi OMS, Liquidity Services and GL Selector to manage execution, trading and risk from a single platform.

Itau BBA Securities went live with SunGard Valdi Order management System(OMS), Valdi Liquidity Selector and GL Selector enabling it to manage execution, trading and risk from a single platform.

Iatu, the brokerage arm of Iatu Unibanco based in Sao Paulo, is also now connected to the SunGard Global Network giving it access to over 500 brokers and 110 markets around the world. Sungard will help Itau tarde multiple asset classes and source new liquidity to help drive growth and increase revenue, according to the vendor’s release.

Sungard’s Valdi enables Itau to trade different types of securities on multiple markets and automate the trade lifecycle across asset classes. GL Selectroc provides pre=trade risk management on all equities and derivatives order flow, allowing Iatu traders to reduce risk and centralze risk management capabilities. The SunGard Global Network provides access to one of the most extensive trading networks, enabling Itau to better service it clients by increase their access to liquidity.
