EXQIM Chooses OneTick for Quantitative Strategy Development

French investment manager selects unified CEP and Database system rather than multiple systems.

EXclusive Quantitative Investment Management (EXQIM) has selected OneTick CEP and Database to support quantitative strategy development and deployment within the European and U.S. equities markets, according to today’s announcement from OneMarketData LLC.

EXQIM is a French company focused on developing and deploying diversified arbitrage strategies. After conducting a competitive evaluation process, EXQIM selected OneTick CEP and Database for its integration of real-time streaming market data and historical tick data, which supports quantitative strategy development, testing and real-time signal generation.

Built from the ground up as a unified platform, OneTick lowers the cost of ownership of a CEP high performance database solution by eliminating the need for multiple systems, stated the company. It also accelerates the data querying process by allowing quants to create one set of code for real time and historical queries.

“At EXQIM, we are committed to leveraging innovative technologies that help us minimize human error and capitalize on new investment opportunities within the global markets,” stated Jacques Lucas, EXQIM’s founder and president, in the release. “Through OneTick’s seamless CEP and database integration as well as its built-in business logic, we can accomplish these goals by reducing opportunities for human coding errors and empowering users to rapidly bring new investment strategies to market.

EXQIM plans to use OneTick CEP and Database to support its entire quantitative research and development process. EXQIM will leverage OneTick to capture, store and analyze real-time and historical U.S. and European equities data as well as generate trade signals from real-time streaming data sources.
