Da Vinci Invest Not Involved in Madoff Ponzi Scheme

Da Vinci Invest Ltd. and Da Vinci Arbitrage Fund do not currently or ever had any involvement with Madoff Investment Securities, according to the firm. The Da Vinci Arbitrage Fund does not invest with any other fund structures. It’s approach to trading only listed instruments has allowed it to avoid the issues brought about by counterparty risk. Da Vinci Arbitrage Fund performance data is calculated by an independent administrator, Custom House Fund Services, Luxembourg. The Fund is independently audited by KPMG. Da Vinci Invest Ltd. is authorized and regulated by the VQF Zug, Switzerland.

Contrary to recent developments in the hedge fund industry, Da Vinci Invest of Zurich, Switzerland said that its flagship Arbitrage Fund has changed its liquidity from monthly to weekly. While many in the industry have locked up their investors for increasingly extended periods of time, Da Vinci is dedicated to providing highly liquid and non-correlated investments to its investors, according to the firm in a press release.
