GoldenSource Partners With CounterpartyLink
GoldenSource Corporation has formed a strategic alliance with CounterpartyLink, a provider of global legal entity and counterparty data, according to a news release.
GoldenSource said the collaboration is a direct response to the compliance demands placed on financial institutions.
As a result of the alliance, a connector to CounterPartyLink will be created to enable firms to maintain accurate hierarchy relationship information in a single trusted repository, supported by an audit trail to meet regulatory and compliance obligations, the release said. CounterpartyLink will deliver legal entity data to GoldenSource, a global software provider of enterprise data management (EDM) solutions to the securities and financial-services industry. CounterpartyLink's niche data focus gives it an advantage in accuracy and update speed, says GoldenSource.
"Counterparty data is often overlooked," stated Tim Lind, senior vice president product strategy, GoldenSource in the release "By developing a connector to CounterPartyLink, Golden Source will provide an easy means for capturing accurate counterparty data, which will enable financial institutions to manage compliance and credit risk more efficiently," he added.
Xcitek Interfaces to CDS INC.'s Canadian Entitlement Data
Xcitek has interfaced its XSP corporate actions system to CDS INC.'s SWIFT ISO 15022 entitlement data for the automated process of corporate actions and other entitlements. CDS INC. is a leading supplier of Canadian equity and debt entitlements information. Xcitek says the interface reflects the industry's ongoing efforts to embrace the ISO 15022 message standard to promote straight-through processing (STP).
In June, CDS issued ISO 15022 standards for corporate actions and entitlements messaging guidelines for the Canadian securities market. CDS' new Entitlement Messaging services gives subscribers accurate and timely entitlement (including corporate action) information in field-based form over the SWIFT network (in ISO MT564 format) and over CDS' proprietary network.
"Teaming with CDS INC. further enhances (our) offering by combining the strengths of CDS' unequalled Canadian data with XSP's robust and feature rich technology," stated Brendan Farrell Jr., managing partner at Xcitek, in the release.
