Nasdaq OMX Nordic Debuts North American Market Access
Nasdaq OMX Nordic is making it easier for its clients to trade in the North American equity markets.
The company announced the launch of a connectivity service that allows its Nordic and Baltic-based clients to send orders to U.S. and Canadian exchanges through a single electronic gateway. The firm added that it's teaming with Citigroup to execute the orders once they're placed through the Market Access – U.S. & Canada platform.
"Nasdaq OMX Nordic is taking investors to the U.S. and Canadian home market liquidity via a direct connection to trade in all U.S. and Canadian equities," Nasdaq OMX Nordic President Hans-Ole Jochumsen said in a statement.
The company said the service can be used to trade U.S. and Canadian equities, American depositary receipts, and exchange-traded funds.
