GFI Group Picks Mighter Gissing multi-vendor platform for price distribution; Hauck & Aufhauser Banquiers selects Rolfe & Nolan's ASP-delivered processing solution; Firefly Capital signs up with Radianz for connectivity; LongView Trading to embed Autex in OMS.

GFI Group Inc. chose the ConteX Multi-Vendor Contribution System from Mighter Gissing Software to enhance their distribution of price information from their in-house brokers to trading customers via market data vendors. GFI, an inter-dealer broker and data and analytical software provider to the derivatives markets headquartered in New York, will use the software to provide contributions from their in-house systems to multiple vendors, including their own distribution infrastructure. Factors influencing the decision were the system's flexibility and the ease with which contributions to new instruments could be added. Other aspects were the packaging of data for specific vendors and the ability to monitor contributions across the whole firm to ensure integrity and quality of data is maintained. Mighter Gissing will provide an interface to the GFI Data Feed Distribution system in the first phase of the project, which provides information to end users as well as page-based market-data feeds. GFI will also develop an interface from their Price Broadcast System into ConteX for onward distribution to vendors. During the initial phase of implementation, ConteX servers will be installed in both London and New York, contributing data on fixed income and interest-rate derivative products.

Hauck & Aufhauser Banquiers Luxembourg S.A. has selected the Rolfe & Nolan application service provider (ASP)-based solution to process its expanding futures and options business, especially for future hedge-fund projects. In addition to the ASP-delivered core-processing systems, the bank will utilize features including task automation and reconciliation. Hauck & Aufhauser Banquiers is a subsidiary of Hauck & Aufhauser Privatbankiers KgaA, which is one of the first independent German banks in Luxembourg. It also has offices in Munich, Frankfurt and Zurich.

Firefly Capital plans to use Radianz's shared market-infrastructure for connectivity to trading partners and customers. Muhammed Saeed, president of Firefly Capital, in a prepared statement cites Radianz's established connectivity to more than 10,000 financial- services sites worldwide as providing its customers with instant access to its trading software.
