New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg welcomed the new data center to lower Manhattan. "It is about adding data infrastructure, which is something that I know about," joked Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg at a press conference yesterday. Bloomberg said the data center is vital to the New York tristate area's growing technology sector.
