Wolters Kluwer Financial Services Expands Offerings to India

Through its regulatory expertise and technology offerings, the company will help financial professionals comply with industry regulations, including those enforced by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), and Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).

Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, a provider of compliance and risk management solutions for the financial services industry, announced that it is expanding its offerings to the financial services market in India.

Wolters Kluwer Financial Services now provides compliance and risk management solutions specifically designed for India's financial services market. Through its regulatory expertise and technology offerings, the company will help financial professionals comply with industry regulations, including those enforced by Reserve Bank of India (RBI), Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) and Financial Intelligence Unit - India (FIU). Additionally, the company helps its customers understand implications of global regulations on the Indian financial services industry.

In addition to regulatory intelligence, Wolters Kluwer Financial Services's offerings for the Indian market include financial crime control solutions, with products addressing different types of fraud such as account takeover, insider dealing, money laundering and internaal and external fraud. The company also offers enterprise risk management solutions.

"As India's financial regulatory framework continues to evolve, it is becoming more challenging for financial services organizations to manage risk and compliance," said Brian Longe, CEO, Wolters Kluwer Financial & Compliance Services. "By expanding our offerings to India, we can help them develop, implement and maintain effective and comprehensive programs with compliance and risk management solutions designed specifically for India. Additionally, we provide access to our global compliance expertise--a key benefit in assessing the impact of regulations both in India and abroad."
