Custom House To Offer Compliance Portal

For alternative investment firms and hedge funds that need to combat the operational expenses of complying with regulation, Custom House Global Fund has launched a cloud-based portal compatible with desktops, laptops and tablets.

The portal, called Custom House Gateway, offers solutions across the middle and back offices. Managers would be able to reconcile and aggregate data for reporting, optional order management and FIX connectivity, portfolio dashboards and a catalog of net asset value (NAV) and investor reports.

"Gateway is a complete solution that is designed to handle industry complexities, including accommodating multiple prime brokers, multiple asset classes and a broad range of investment strategies and products,” says Scott Price, regional director and head of sales at Custom House Global Fund Services in Chicago.

The product can be scaled for to combat counterparty risks from growing clients who’s assets are with multiple prime brokers, by consolidating the client's data. Gateway also includes functions that assist from trading point of view like capturing data and assist in daily reporting in real-time, according to Price.

"One of the features of it [Gateway] is that it integrates with an auto-management system. The reconciling engine is also directly built into the platform so it will match trades from the trading advisor, or ... to the prime broker," adds Price.
