Tech Economy Is Booming in New York

New York City is doing everything it can to attract new technology companies and compete with Silicon Valley.

New York City's technology industry certainly isn't as large or as high profile as its Silicon Valley rival. And with some of the financial industry's best and brightest fleeing Gotham for the tech business out west, one would expect that New York is no longer a hotbed for technology start ups.

But New York is doing everything it can to compete with the tech business out west. In NYC, there are dozens, if not hundreds of early stage start ups that are working to gain investors, and customers, as they try to get off the ground.
