PFPC Inc. announced that it has been selected by LJH Global Investments to provide a range of services for a registered hedge-fund-of-funds product to be offered starting this year. Under the new contract, PFPC will provide custody, accounting, administration, partner services, tax services and regulatory services, including all Securities and Exchange Commission filings, for the Phoenix-LJH Advisors Fund LLC fund.
Syntegra announced that ADP Investor Communication Services, a division of Automatic Data Processing's Brokerage Services Group, has become the most recent company to sign up for its secure end-to-end Internet-protocol- network service, SettleNET. As a provider of shareholder communications and proxy-voting services, ADP ICS will use SettleNET to link to CREST. As one of several new initiatives, CREST's electronic proxy-voting functionality will be operational from Jan. 20 2003.
Also: Syntegra and Institutional Shareholder Services, Inc. (ISS), a provider of proxy voting and corporate-governance services, announced that SettleNET would be used to offer ISS's proxy-voting services via CREST. Electronic enhancements will include: notification that a meeting is to take place; notification of the results of a meeting; the ability to submit a proxy instruction; and the ability for a Voting Service Provider to submit a proxy instruction on behalf of the registered holder.
