In a new report, "Ranking the Vendors of Reconciliation Systems," Celent Communications, a Boston-based research and advisory firm, provides an overview of the reconciliation process in addition to analyzing and ranking 13 vendors' solutions. In first place is the CheckFree Financial and Compliance Solutions (CFACS) CheckFree RECON-Plus Frontier enterprise-wide reconciliation solution, and in second place is CheckFree RECON Securities. Ratings were based on criteria that included: product coverage, data transformation capabilities, matching rules, workflow automation, archiving capabilities, and scalability.

HelioGraph, a provider of financial messaging, announced that Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM) has gone live with the latest phases of the HelioGraph TradeFlow STP platform to automate its electronic-trade-delivery (ETD) processes across its London and Frankfurt headquarters. The company initially selected HelioGraph's Tradeflow solution after an extensive selection process with the aim of increasing automation as well as implementing ISO 15022 messaging. Heliograph has now been live in London for two years, where it is being used for electronic-trade settlement , and is also servicing the Frankfurt office where it is used for electronic-trade confirmation.

Vitria, a provider of business-process-integration solutions, announced that Phoenix Informatica Bancaria S.p.A, a supplier of IT solutions to Casse Rurali and banks of Credito Cooperativo across Italy, will be using Vitria for an integration infrastructure solution enabling Swift-messaging compliance and technology compliance with the requirements of the Bank of Italy. Phoenix Informatica will be supplying the solution, based on Vitria, to Casse Rurali of the Trento area and a number of Banks of Credito Cooperativo in Italy's north-eastern region.
