Abbey National Treasury Services, part of the Abbey National Group, has deployed DataSynapse's LiveCluster distributed-computer infrastructure for its risk management and reporting applications in its financial products division. The LiveCluster infrastructure is powered by the GridServer and enables ANTS to leverage computing resources to increase speed and reliability of risk reporting applications.

Rolfe & Nolan Systems and DTN Market Access are teaming up to offer a joint product integrating streaming market data through Rolfe & Nolan's RANorder order management and trading platform. The product will integrate DTN's Java-based, real-time streaming quotes, news and charting functionality into the RANorder system. Future releases of the combined product will enable users to create and enter orders from DTN quotes fields and charting screens.

EVault, a provider of disk-based data protection and recovery services, has released its EVault InfoStage online backup and recovery software suite. The InfoStage software enable users to automatically transmit periodic backups offsite to disk storage. Leveraging existing data center resources at centralized locations, EVault InfoStage doesn't require investment in additional hardware.
