Scottish Widows Investment Partnership (Swip) is tapping Reuters to integrate the vendor's Fundamentals feed into the firm's internal research application. Swip's portfolio managers and analysts will use Reuters Fundamentals to gain information including reported and standardized financials, restated and originally reported financials, business- and geographic-segment data and financial ratios. The company information covers more than 32,000 firms.
Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association -- College Retirement Equities Fund has contracted with Fame Information Services, a New York City-based data-management vendor. Fame will provide TIAA-CREF with an enterprise market-data platform and risk applications. The solution, called referencePoint, will include reference and historical market data, data-management technology, and market expertise.
