Marathon Asset Management Turns to SimCorp for Trade Processing
Marathon Asset Management, a U.K.-based asset management firm with around $50 billion under management, announced it's now using the SimCorp Dimension platform for trade processing, fund accounting, and reporting across long-only and hedge fund portfolios.
Marathon said that SimCorp replaces several platforms it had been using - including HiPortfolio, Beauchamp and Salerio – with a single integrated system that cuts costs.
"Not only is the functionality of our previous middle and back office systems now on one integrated platform, but we have considerably more functionality and flexibility than before," said Nick Hughes, Marathon's chief operating officer. "We have been able to rationalize systems so that we now have a single view of data and a stable accounting platform."
