Citisoft hired Christopher Connors as a director of business development. Most recently a VP at State Street Global Advisors, Connors brings more than 19 years of experience in the financial services industry, including tenures with PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting and IBM Business Consulting Services, to the Boston-based investment management consulting firm.
Connors says Citisoft's clients currently are looking for a means to optimize their operational and IT spend as well as to "improve process efficiency without the funding that has been available in prior years." Despite the tough current economic climate, he adds, this is an opportune time for clients to conduct a rigorous, top-down assessment of their firm's organizational, operations and IT models.
"Engaging in this type of project will ensure that the investment adviser or services firm is well-positioned once market pressures abate and funding is available for value-add change initiatives," Connors explains.
