Salaries in the Northeast and Pacific regions are higher than other regions in the country, with Midwest salaries, on average, being the lowest. In the Northeast and Pacific, IT staffers earn $105,000 and $90,000, respectively. Meanwhile, their peers in the Midwest can expect to earn just $85,000, on average, with South Central IT workers coming in slightly higher at $86,000.
