Connotate Launches Agent Community GEN 2.0

Connotate Technologies, a New Jersey-based Web mining company, has launched its new Information Agent Community GEN2.0 at the SIFMA TMC show.

The upgraded solution, a scalable platform based on Connotate’s web mining technologies, provides Wall Street firms with intelligent agents that can interact with the Web and intranets, 24 hours a day, in a Web 2.0 environment.

Agent Studio GEN 2.0 deploys virtual agents to gather data such as price changes, information about hiring, firing, sentiment and availability from disparate Web sources, which can then be used to support financial research for trading, to create personalize portals and to RSS or XML-enable any Web site.

The platform features an upgraded Agent Studio, which allows users to create intelligent agents with an intuitive point and click interface, and a new Agent Library which provides an easy-to-use catalogue supporting agent sharing and collaboration.
