In a move to offer FX trading on its multi-asset, global trading platform, TradingScreen has hired Jonathan Cooper, former head of FX sales and liquidity at Bloomberg. Cooper is now global head of FX Sales at TradingScreen, which also launched secondary FX trading functionality.
Cooper’s career at Bloomberg spanned 14 years during which time Cooper acted as European head of emerging markets. Most recently, Cooper was the European Head of FX Sales and Liquidity where he helped oversee the introduction of e-FX products to the firm’s global customer base.
“With the launch of secondary FX trading functionality to TradingScreen’s multi-asset, global trading platform, we aim to satisfy the need for our customers to hedge secondary FX exposures generated by trading in other asset classes,” stated Philippe Buhannic, CEO of TradingScreen in the release. Users now can auto-hedge triggered by time, execution or threshold with any of the prime brokers or liquidity providers available on TradeFX, he added in the release.
