ADVISORport provides its fee-based advisory platform to UVEST Financial Services; Aberdeen Asset Management implements CRTS and ComplianceMaster applications; StatementOne adds three professionals to its management team.

ADVISORport announced that it has signed an agreement to provide its fee-based advisory platform to UVEST Financial Services, a broker/dealer based in Charlotte, N.C. The ADVISORport platform will enable UVEST financial professionals to provide advisory services to clients through their network of community banks. The platform facilitates client profiling, investment-proposal generation, money-manager and mutual-fund selection, portfolio monitoring and performance reporting.

Charles River Development, a provider of financial software and consulting services to the global investment-management, banking and insurance industries, announced that Aberdeen Asset Management has implemented its Charles River Trading System (CRTS) and ComplianceMaster applications for equity, fixed income and derivative dealing, compliance and order management. CRTS is a multi-currency trade-order-management system for investment managers and ComplianceMaster is a pre- and post-trade compliance-monitoring system. Aberdeen, a global fund manager, rolled out the Charles River systems to over 120 users across six global sites; London, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Sydney, Singapore, and Fort Lauderdale.

StatementOne, a provider of enterprise-data consolidation and Web-based portfolio accounting/performance measurement announced that it has added three professionals to its management team. Joining StatementOne are Antonio "Tony" Nunes as chief financial officer; Chris Schmutz as vice president, new business development; and Michael Lobosco as director of account management.

Trema, a provider of software solutions for the financial industry, announced that it has launched Trema Finance KIT 6.0, which incorporates new functionality for the global asset-management industry. Trema Finance KIT 6.0 incorporates API and "plug and use" interfaces enabling users to interface with external and internal production and distribution systems. Specific new functionality in Trema Finance KIT 6.0 will enable asset managers to control, monitor and attribute the performance of their portfolios.
