Apt Computer Systems Limited, a provider of FIX (Financial Information eXchange) engines and connectivity-software tools for the financial world, announces that SWIFT has purchased its FIX Simulator for testing the SWIFTNet-FIX-pilot service. For the past three months SWIFT has been running its SWIFTNet-FIX pilot using Apt's FIX Simulator as part of the testing for its hub. The agreement to use Apt for the pilot was negotiated and signed earlier this summer.

HedgeWorld Markets USA, Inc. announced the availability of its HedgeWorld Markets hedge-fund marketplace https://markets.hedgeworld.com to U.S.-based accredited investors, qualified institutions and advisers. Eagle Investment Systems Corp., a provider of Web-based and global-investment-management solutions, announced it would host its first annual International Symposium for informing its European clients about new technology developments and current industry initiatives.
