Europe's Bank Stress Tests Not So Tough
Europe's banks largely passed tests designed to show how they'd fare if the region had a double-dip recession. But there's still questions being asked about the toughness of the tests and inconsistencies between countries, according to the Wall Street Journal. There were no "surprises" among the seven banks that failed, but a number of banks just barely passed as the 20 countries involved in the stress test all approached the evaluation with slightly different criteria.
