Dr. Almgren oversees the firm's quantitative research and analysis of best execution algorithms and transactional cost measurement. He also maintains the role of Adjunct Professor in Financial Mathematics, Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University.

Prior to founding Quantitative Brokers in 2008, Dr. Almgren was managing director and head of Quantitative Strategies for the Electronic Trading Services group at Banc of America Securities, where he led the teams' focus on developing new agency trading algorithms and analytics for both equity, equity derivative and futures marketplaces.

Prior to joining BAS in 2005, Dr. Almgren spent five years at the University of Toronto as a tenured Associate Professor of Mathematics and Computer Science, including three years as Director of the Master of Mathematical Finance Program. Earlier in his career he spent eight years at the University of Chicago, as Assistant Professor of Mathematics and then as Senior Lecturer in Mathematics and Associate Director of the Program on Financial Mathematics.

Dr. Almgren has an extensive research record in a broad range of applied mathematics. He holds a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics from the Massachussets Institute of Technology, an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Princeton University.
Andrew Athan, Managing Member, Athan Capital Holdings

Andrew Athan has been involved in trading technology for two decades, starting with Wall Street's first use of the NeXT platform in the early 90's. He has been involved with both technology and trading strategy development in high frequency trading for the last five years, recently within the context of a firm which he manages.
Andrew F. Bach, Senior Vice President, Technology for NYSE Euronext

In this capacity, he is responsible for planning the company's private fiber-optic network that links all NYSE, Securities Industries Automation Corporation (SIAC), which is a subsidiary of NYSE, and American Stock Exchange (AMEX) sites and the national networks SIAC operates.

Additionally, Mr. Bach is Head of Product Development for Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure (SFTI) at SIAC. He oversees all aspects of the SFTI product line. Under his management, SFTI's products and services have increased to include exchanges, market centers and industry utilities. It now offers a variety of financial service content providers to more than 600 firms, representing over 99% of nationally listed market order flows.

While at SIAC, Mr. Bach has held various positions, including Vice President of Communication Administration, Vice President of Architecture and Vice President of Project Engineering.

Prior to SIAC, Mr. Bach was the manager of software development at EDO Corporation where he developed advanced sonar signal processing equipment for the world's navies.

Mr. Bach sits on the board of the Promise Fund at Polytechnic University in New York City, where he also is an adjunct professor for graduate studies in networking. He also is a member of the Nortel Customer Advisory Board, and the Wall Street Technology Association and is an active member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the Association of Computer Machinery (ACM). Awards for Mr. Bach's contribution to the industry include the prestigious ComputerWorld Smithsonian award in 2000 for his role in the integration of IP multicasting technology in the financial services industry. He also holds multiple patents in communications technologies. Mr. Bach received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the Pratt Institute.
Thomas Chipppas, Head of Autobahn Equity North America, Deutsche Bank

Thomas Chippas is Head of Autobahn Equity, North America, for Deutsche Bank. Autobahn Equity is Deutsche Bank's equity electronic trading platform encompassing direct market access and algorithmic trading. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Tom was Head of Sales for electronic trading at Banc of America Securities and Global Head of Sales for Macgregor. Previous to those roles he lived in London where he was Head of Europe for Financial Technologies International.
Ryan Eavy, Associate Director, Enterprise Architecture, CME Group

Ryan Eavy was appointed Associate Director, Enterprise Architecture of CME Group in 2007. He is responsible for ensuring the company's technology is aligned with the business strategy through application research and development, technical solution assessment and systems roadmap definition. Prior to assuming his current role, he most recently served as a Senior Application and Security Architect.

Before joining the company in 2003, Eavy worked as a Senior Applications Developer at Quotes and as a Senior Applications Engineer at Dewpoint. Andrew Haines, Chief Information Officer, GAIN Capital Group

Andrew Haines is Chief Information Officer at GAIN Capital Group, a global provider of online trading services specializing in foreign exchange. GAIN operates FOREX.com, one of the largest and best-known brands in the retail FX industry with customers in over 140 countries. GAIN also provides FX execution, clearing, custody and technology products and services to an institutional client base including asset managers, broker/dealers and other financial services firms.

GAIN recently launched GAIN GTX, a fully independent FX ECN for professional traders and is focused on the needs of high-frequency algorithmic trading strategies.

At GAIN, Andrew is responsible for aligning technology execution with the strategic business objectives of the Company. Andrew oversees all aspects of the Company's global information technology platform, including trading systems and business system development, infrastructure & engineering, and day-to-day technology operations.

Serving as product and business expert in sales, Mr. Honoré was the primary expert in every subsequent sale for CSS. He has also been a speaker at business intelligence seminars, online seminars for wealth management platforms, and discussions with senior business leaders.

Prior to CSS, Mr. Honoré was responsible for development at Tucker Anthony Sutro Capital Markets, designing and creating applications for investment banking & research, including one of the early capital markets online personalized research delivery websites.

Before Tucker Anthony, Mr. Honoré was a software engineer at Strong Capital Management. While there, Mr. Honoré helped create an online brokerage platform, tools for their award winning mutual fund site, and intranet applications supporting Strong's enterprise, including the call center.

Mr. Honoré received his BA from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee with a double major in Public Relations and History. He is a four year veteran of the U.S. Army, including tours in Korea and Desert Storm. Mr. Honoré has received a citation from the Wisconsin State Legislature for charitable development work, and was Master of Ceremonies for the 1990 Missouri Special Olympics.
Brian Hyndman, Senior Vice President, Transaction Services, The NASDAQ Stock Market, Inc.

Brian Hyndman is Senior Vice President, Transaction Services of the NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NDAQ), the world's largest exchange group. Hyndman is responsible for managing operations of U.S. equities trading platforms including The NASDAQ Stock Market and NASDAQ OMX BX. He is also responsible for the broker/dealer sales and the institutional outreach and relationship program.

Recently, Hyndman has lead NASDAQ OMX's efforts to launch NASDAQ OMX PSX, the exchange group's third U.S. equity trading platform and the industry's first price/size priority model. He was also instrumental in establishing NASDAQ OMX BX, the exchange group's second protected quote for equities trading in the U.S., which changed the competitive landscape when it launched in January 2009.

Hyndman played a key role in the acquisition of INET and managed the integration of the sales team and customer relations. In addition, he has helped lead the launch and implementation of new products and programs such as the Opening Cross, Listed program, and other initiatives to leverage the BRUT ECN asset.

During his time at BRUT, Mr. Hyndman guided BRUT's growth since its founding. Appointed President of The BRASS Utility in April 1998, Brian presided over the company's merger with Strike Technologies in February 2000, the subsequent formation of The BRUT ECN, and SunGard's acquisition of BRUT in August of 2002. Brian then presided over the sale of BRUT to NASDAQ in September of 2004 and worked on the integration of BRUT into NASDAQ.

Prior to joining BRUT, Mr. Hyndman served as Vice President of Execution Services for the National Discount Brokers Group, managing 120 employees. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at Oswego. He also holds numerous licenses from the National Association of Securities Dealers, including the 4, 7, 24, 27, 53 and 63.
Scott Ignall, Chief Technology Officer, Lightspeed Financial, Inc

Scott Ignall is Chief Technology Officer of Lightspeed Financial, Inc and is responsible for overseeing the ongoing operations, development and evolution its entire proprietary suite of high-speed, ultra low latency trading systems for professional retail active traders, proprietary trading groups, hedge funds, and institutional investors. Mr. Ignall was also a key driver in the original design, creation and implementation of Lightspeed's software-based solution, Lightspeed Trader, for clients employing electronic-based trading strategies.

Mr. Ignall brings 15 years of industry experience in the Institutional and Retail electronic trading arena to Lightspeed, with various past roles in technology, product, operations, brokerage support and trading.

Prior to joining Lightspeed, Mr. Ignall was Director of DMA Product Strategy for E*TRADE Capital Markets where he held strategic oversight for the company's DMA, Order Management, and Market Data Systems in the U.S., Asia, Europe, and Canada.

Previously, Mr. Ignall was Co-Founder and Vice President of Technology Affairs at Tradescape, a software technology provider, specializing in the development of innovative trading tools. Tradescape was acquired by E*TRADE Financial in 2002.

Mr. Ignall began his career at a Datek, a pioneer in online and direct access trading, and also the birthplace of the Island ECN, currently utilized by NASDAQ for its primary order matching engine.

He holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Pennsylvania, is registered with the NASD. In addition to his role on the advisory board of Wall Street & Technology Magazine, Mr. Ignall is a frequent contributor at various industry conferences, and his comments appear regularly in the financial technology news media.

Arzhang Kamarei, Partner, Tradeworx

Arzhang Kamarei is a Partner at Tradeworx, a quantitative investment management firm with expertise in fully automated, high-frequency equity market-neutral strategies. He has been responsible for business development and corporate strategy at Tradeworx, including the development new trading businesses and the launch of Thesys Technologies, a Tradeworx subsidiary, in 2009. Kevin McPartland, Senior Analyst, TABB Group

Kevin joined TABB Group after spending four years, 2003 to 2007, at Detica, formerly m.a.partners, where as a senior manager in their global financial markets division, he was responsible for strategic and implementation projects across equities, derivatives and fixed-income asset classes for the international management consulting firm's top-tier investment banking clients. Based in their New York office, he also managed development and implementation of trading systems, as well as project management and business analysis of major business and technology initiatives, strategic-architecture design and business-process definitions.

Prior to joining Detica, Kevin held business analyst and project management positions at JPMorgan Chase in New York from 1998 to 2003 in their equities and futures & options divisions where he was involved in support, development and planning of electronic trading solutions.

Kevin earned his B.S. in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
Dr. Michael Mollemans, Head of Electronic Execution Sales, Daiwa Capital Markets America

Michael Mollemans is Head of Electronic Execution Sales at Daiwa Capital Markets America, where he manages direct market access, algorithmic trading, smart order routing, and program trading services for the US, Japan, and South East Asian markets.

Prior to his wide ranging role at Daiwa Capital Markets America, Michael was in charge of US direct market access services and algorithmic trading service development for Credit Lyonnais Securities at their New York office.

Prior to that, Michael was in charge Japanese electronic execution services sales for Credit Lyonnais Securities at their Tokyo office.

He also held regional analyst roles for DBS Securities at both their Singapore and Bangkok offices. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has a Ph.D. in Econometrics from Macquarie University, Sydney.

Overall, Michael has over twelve years experience in the securities industry in a variety of capacities - including research, trading, and IT project management - at a variety of markets, including New York, Tokyo, Singapore, and Bangkok.
Steven J. Sadoff, Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer, Knight Capital Group

Steven J. Sadoff, Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer, oversees the Operations, Service and Technology Group (OST) at Knight Capital Group. Mr. Sadoff has been with the Company since April 2002 and was named Executive Vice President in January 2009. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Sadoff was the Chief Information Officer for BondBook, responsible for global oversight, strategy, purchasing and implementation of technology. From 1995 until 2000, he was with Merrill Lynch & Co. where for the last two years, he was a director responsible for technology for the Global Liquidity and Credit businesses, in addition to leading e-commerce initiatives. For the first three years he was with Merrill Lynch Japan, responsible for front office technology and infrastructure. Jeff Wecker, President and CEO, Lime Brokerage

Jeff Wecker joined Lime Brokerage as President and CEO in December, 2008. Prior to joining Lime, Jeff was the CEO of Townsend Analytics Inc., a subsidiary of Lehman Brothers Inc. Jeff negotiated the acquisition of Townsend while serving as Managing Director and Global Head of Electronic Trading at Lehman, a business that he created for Lehman. While at Lehman, Jeff also served on Lehman's firm-wide Investment Committee, the Prime Brokerage executive committee, and the board of directors of Archipelago Exchange prior to its sale to NYSE Euronext.

Prior to Lehman, Jeff was a co-founder of the Caspian group of companies where he launched and served as CEO of Caspian Asset Management. Jeff started his career at Goldman Sachs, heading teams in global derivatives and quantitative strategies. Jeff received degrees in Civil Engineering and Applied Mathematics from Princeton University.
